I love looking at aerial photos... it's almost like flying over an area without the $80 an hour plane rental...
Anyway, Microsoft's competition for Google Maps is http://local.live.com and they are adding what they call "Bird's Eye Coverage" to a lot of areas. To see a bunch of cool places in the US, you can visit www.birdseyetourist.com... what's neat is that you can click on North, South, East or West to get different views of the same location.
Well, they just added Bird's Eye coverage to the Pensacola area, so I can explore all around here...
Just to keep this sign related, I'll post a pic of a sign truck... can anyone identify this rig?? Look right above the L-shaped house that is towards the bottom of the screen... Slide the screen up or down to get a different view of it. What IS THIS?? Posted by goddinfla (Member # 1502) on :
That would be the Speedo Van belonging to OP.

I recognized the red garage the infamous picture was taken in front of. OP lives there.

Here's my place. My blue Vue in the backyard. My recycled yellow sign chicken coops.
Congratulations, Dennis, you just won a lifesize autographed picture of a OP in a Speedo. As soon as I get my brother-in-law Blake to print it on his Versacamm... hehe.
Here's another shot to make this sign related. This is a carwash built by us, Triple A Steel, with Gemini letters put up by Yours Truly. The "9 Mile" letters are 24" and the "Car Wash" letters are 36". Gemini Letters Visible from the Sky Posted by Wayne Webb (Member # 1124) on :

Evidently, mine was taken in the wet seasoon in the dead of winter....whadaya mean.... no snow?
The office/showroom has a green roof, shop has silver metal. You can see my white truck beside the shop.
I'm going around and compiling a list of a lot of our buildings in Pensacola, so I can list them on our website.
I actually found two of our projects that our crews were working on the day these shots were taken... Crew 1 Crew 2 Posted by William DeBekker (Member # 3848) on :
