What a great player Lilly was. I have an autographed photo of him on the wall. Along with the rest of the ring of honor players. I was a Cowboys fan before they had cheerleaders.

Was thinking maybe the Saints would go all the way this year.... that was before they got their arses handed to them by the Colts. Now I realize it'll just be like every other year.
Go Aints!! ((Come on, gimme a reason to add the 'S' on it!!))
P.S.- Mike Meyer: you're a troublemaker. Hehe.

Mike, This post is very interesting.
I just completed branding (placing logos) on 70 telephone communication carts for a national corporation that is the official communications provider for the NFL. These carts are used by the teams on the sidelines to privately communicate to their staff in the press box.
There were 70 units (2 per each NFL stadium) with 4 NFL (old) logos per unit. The approval process with the NFL was a long and arduous affair as they strictly enforce official sponsor branding, as well as their own image. They even supplied me the logo file!

...or the BROWNS. Oops! Five decades too late.
The Cowboys got two first round picks from the Browns next year for Brady Quinn. He He

Jim Brown and LeRoy Kelly will be tough together in the backfield for da Browns....Minnesota has NO pro football, absolutely NONE!

As for our Bears, Mike ... Is it going to be a "Good Rex Day" or a "Bad Rex Day?" The only constant is "Mike Brown's out for the season -- again, and again, and again ..............................................................

I still think Jim Brown was the greatest back ever to play the game. Imagine what he could have done with sixteen games a season and the offensive packages and rules of today.

I liked Bill Brown, a real "working man's" football player, still sporting the flat top!
I also liked George Blanda and Jim Otto!

This might be the only time this year but the Packers are in first place.
Posted by David Harding (Member # 108) on :
George Blanda was one of my all time favorites. He played pro football until he was almost 49. He'd always have to chunk a touchdown pass or two whenever he was in relief and then handle the kicking chores. What an athlete!

Don't like the new logo...dead spot over the "L" and just a simplified version of the original.
Then again, it might look better on video...
...kinda sucks to be a Patriots fan this week...

or any week Ray.

Wow. For me, that new logo is MUCH better than the old. Less is definitely more. 'Coarse, I liked the new UPS logo better than than the old for the same reason.

Some weeks are better than others, Mike.
I can think of three in the last six years that were pretty good. Super Bowls 36, 38 and 39 were good weeks. One more and ESPN's might start throwing the word "dynasty" around.
I do recall a very bad one where the Bears beat them, but that was 21 years ago. I take solace in the fact that Chicago hasn't won another one since.
I noticed you're a Bears fan in Minnesota. Given the Vikings' Super Bowl records, I can understand it.
