Philip. The way I see most Letterhead meets is that families are encouraged. The spouse may not 'get-it' with the gilding, etc, but is always made to feel very welcome and encouraged to try the activities. The kids usually shine at these events and have a wonderful, memorable time....bring their paint clothes so they can play in the paint. Hope we see you there.

Phillip,
I am bringing my two daughters (14 and 10) Also René is going with his family(4-5 kids) if you include all Brian's kids, that will be more kids than letterheads at this meet!! Come on in!!
Life is so good!

I thought all letterheads were just big kids... most I know have never truly grown up. I know I never plan to.
Looking forward to Monton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phil, our whole family is going - incl. my daughter, 10, and son, 7. Seems to me it's the ideal site for a meet and for kids too!!

Without getting busted for unknow object, why not bring along something,(small) you use in your shop to make your job easier.I think this would be a good time to show & swap some neat ideas. The other thing we will do if you would like, is to "present your sales presentation". It wiil be your approach to your best customers, the group in the middle $$$ ++++ and the ones you hope you never see again $$$$ ----. I don't know if Brian & I can put this one together but if we can it will be called, "Who's Shop Is This"? I forgot to tell Brian we will be doing this . Oh well hell, no surprises no fun. That is what this business is made of.

After the Hawiian complimenter, I found out I can make mistakes. I said Peter Payne was coming & sorry to say, he is not. That is truly my total mistake. I just spoke to Marje and she mentioned he is a busy guy. Sorry for the bo-bo. We will all have to have a beer for Pete.
Posted by Pete Payne (Member # 344) on :
It better be a real beer, like sleemans, not that funny tasting bottled water, i think they call it molsons, coors lite orgiveamoosehead, trust me i'll know. Maybe have a late nite chat with Captain Morgan for me. Wish I could be there, but i'm not jealous or bitter, you bunch o' weenies. By the way, you're not allowed to have any fun without me!

Let me see, what can I forget. Started packing some of the goodies to take to the meet. I think I will get out of here tomorrow by noon. To Susan & the rest of the guests in the bunkhous, I have found the cure for snoring at night. Go to bed during the day & stay up all night. I have been trying to hold onto a beer bottle so my hand will take that shape. Might have to put the heat gun on my fingers to set the memory. Started on my diet last Monday so I will have a cavity for Andre's exelent meals. We have no building to put together this time, so one should get to bed before 5 am.
To those who can't make this meet,I am very sorry.
We put this meet together with the help & love of so many people most of you may never meet. For those who made the last meet, there will be memory moments. Happy ones for the fun, food & friendship & a quiet one when we think of the ones that have passed on. Crazy George will be one deeply missed. What a soldier in battle he was. You listen to the conversation at this meet & you are bound to hear the name John Jordan come up, time & time again. Listen real close, you might still hear his Aussie accent while story telling. You might have caught him winking at Karen Bush or some of the other fine ladies on his hit list. He was such a special person to have among us for the time we did. He did so much & shared with us all. Kelly in Moose Jaw did such a great job of presenting a tribute to John. May there be a little of John in all of us as we come closer to the future days together. Rev.Bob Hines, I am not. Did you hear the one about...... Now on with the show!!!! Hope we didn't forget too much or slight anyone in organizing this meet. Deany & my wife Muriel and our families have prooven again, it requires their support for us to pull all this together. THANK YOU & WE LOVE YOU ALL.
Hang on tight, grab the saddlehorn & enjoy the Round-up . Here we go again.

ONLY TWO MORE SLEEPS now... We are in the final stages of getting ready here... I leave for Vancouver Island tonight... then back home for a few hours tomorrow night... then up at 4:00 am to go to the airport and the long flight across Canada to Moncton on Thursday...
Then its time for the meet at last!!!
Having held a little one day picnic here at our 'ranch' last year I can only imagine the immense amount of work a meet like this takes to host... hats off to the crew in Moncton!
