Roger...Congrats on your new additions to your family.
Having just recently witnessed this whole baby process, I can only add that what has taken place is nothing short of a miracle. I am in awe, as you must be too. I hope all the children grow up healthy and fulfilled.

Jeff, thank you, and your right, of all the many wonderous things we witness in life, birth is certainly THE most wonderfull miracle to be known and especially witnessed.
Having been thru 2 births 30+ years ago, this birth was no less wonderous and emotional for me, words can never describe the feelings that come over you ! The truest and fullest love we can know.
Hats off to the women folk for all they do !!
And thanks Kelly !

Thanks to all !
I am about as happy as one can be, for my son as well as Alisa and myself. At my age there is a little more appreciation for "new life" then in my 20s.
Can't wait to get them both together, my son is in Oregon (near the biz.) and my wife and I live in Idaho, we will make a trip down when Ally is old enough to travel that distance.

Congratulations are definitely in order here! Roger, please keep us posted whether you feel older or younger? I'm sure moments of both.
Posted by roger bailey (Member # 556) on :
Great question Rick, I have been worried for the past year as to how I will FEEL about all this.
I can happily say all my concerns seem trivial now, and yes I kinda feel a bit younger and more energised, hope it keeps on.
Maybe this is the "fountain of youth" ?

Isn't this carrying a father/son competition a bit too far?
Congratulations!

Congratulations, Roger! They'll probably consider each other cousins. It's more common these days to see babies born at many ages with all the new medical advances. Good luck to all of you. Please plant a big kiss on those babies' cheek for me!

Thanks Deb and Bob ! Last feeding was at 5am, then I got to hold/burp my daughter, just want to squeeze and kiss her forever. Just something about your own newborn !

Here are the little girls everyone. I have to say I thought I was prepared for what I would feel when Gracie was born, but nothing in the world can compare to the love and amazement. My wife is an incredible woman, and my daughter is just amazing. I can't say I've ever been happier about anything in my life.
