What is the best method to install a sign with no visible screws on the face of it? I have one 2x6 for indoors and two 4x8s for outdoors to install, all made from Dibond.
I looked for an installation system to buy but seem to be unable to locate it.

Hi Lotti This subject has been visited a few times here. You can probably do a search and find all the answers. Double faced tape is an option, depending on the surface. Call me. MUR

panel clips are the way to go. Apply with VHB or Lords adhesive on the DiBond.
i've used vhb with good results, but i've also had it fall right off dibond,i have found auto body foam molding tape works very well in some instances, ever try to pull moldings off a car? Pretty tough stuff, panel clips are great, i use them alot especially on thicker substrate that will hold screws

Panel clips are nice, and can be bonded to the panel. I like to scuff the dibond where it'll be taped or glued

Panel Clips are what I had in mind but couldn't remember the name.
Mur, I did a search with little success, must have used the wrong search terms or I'm blind. Nothing new.

EM Plastics has an extrusion system made for use with dibond. Call Bart Anderson in Winnipeg. He may be able to send you a sample.

They call'em French cleats, we call 'em Dutch hangers. If you want to remove them at any time, don't glue them. MUR

French cleats, Dutch hangers, yep... build em yourself or get the Panel Clips from Brooklyn Hardware, Portland OR 503-232-1151
I use their "King Clips" on some pretty heavy substrate. Dimensional HDU with Iron Copy and other stuff. They're aluminum extrusion and I just drill 'em and epoxy short lags into the backer on the substrate. Like Pete said, auto body moulding tape works great too. All my best!

yes, nice visual Ray... & they can just be cut on your own table saw. They can also be almost as long as your sign & although screwing is not an option with dibond... the body moulding tape could work if the cleat was a smooth surface, like 1/2" pvc.
I need to buy a bunch of panel clips, so I followed that link & looked at suppliers... before I even noticed pete on this thread, I saw the Canadian Signcrafters was listed as a supplier. Since they were the only supplier I recognized on the list, that also supported Letterville, I decided I'd have to give them a call.
Then I read Pete's reply, & was suprised he didn't mention his company as a source, so I hope he still carries them.
Otherwise, Brooklyn Hardware sounds like an option... but I'll try Canadian Signcrafters first, (f they can sell to the US) Phone: 1-800-663-9753
