I have a layout that specifies Mrs. Eaves typeface. Wouldn't you know it's one I don't have! I haven't been able to find a free download online and don't want to pay for it if I can avoid it. Has anyone ever had to cross reference it to a similar font? Everything I've looked at just doesn't seem similar enough.

It's close to Times Roman.
Here's the demibold version...

Here is the website showing the typeface used. Now I'm wondering if it's not a modified version because the "s" is more like Palatino. www.MarkJohnsonCustomHomes.com Posted by Tracie Johnson (Member # 6117) on :
Here is a website saying that it's a "modern" version of BaskervilleBaskerville and Mrs. Eaves. It's a copyrighted font, so it looks like it has to be purchased (myfonts.com for $39). Just tell your customer you have to charge for the font or give them the option of using a close substitution.
(Edited for spelling)

Whoops hit the "quote" instead of the "edit."
