I just got a request to price some '69 Boss 302 side stripes on a Grabber-orange '07 Mustang.
Has anyone done these or is there a pre-made kit available? I have a picture of a new Mustang with the stripes installed, so there is reference, but I know that making this from scratch will likely be too costly for the client.

Thanks Joey. That stripe kit will likely need to be modified to fit the '07 Mustang but might work. I was really looking for a kit or ready to cut artwork to fit the '07 'stang.

It is really funny this post would come up at this time. Just this week I had a request to cut these same decals to be put on a restored Mustang. They want them in gloss black. The pattern they brought in was made from a newspaper. We had a picture of the decal on a new mustang that was on the cover Mustang Club of America. The guy said he had a set he bought when he bought this car new and they cost him $129 back then. He tried to use them on this car but the transfer tape was falling off and there was tape residue on the vinyl. Just thought it was odd that this would come up at the same time but many miles apart.

Stu,

I worked right around the corner from Year One ad they will have the decals you're looking for. As far as getting EXACTLY the color you need, keep your fingers crossed. Most of their packages come in limited color combinations.

I did a '69 Mach 1 last year and they only had reflective black and gold. Something that's been bugging me ever since...was reflective vinyl used on the original '69 Mach 1? I thought reflective vinyls came out AFTER 1969...any one know?
