Just wanted to stop in and say hello and introduce myself. My name is Aaron Hunter from Anchorage Alaska. Ive been up here just over 10 years now. Been in the sign business for almost all of that time. Im a full time designer for a sign company up here as well as running a multicam 1000 cnc router and a Seiko 64s wide format printer. Have been a visitor here for a while but finally got in as member. Wanted to say hello especially to Bob Parsons a fellow Alaskan. He was a big inspiration when I first started at Supersigns. Every once in a while he would bring in a project he was working on and you'd just go "wow" I want to make and design signs like that. Thanks Bob as I dont know you personally Ive always been a big fan.

Hello Aaron and welcome! I have been up there and worked with Bob, he's a great guy! I walked all over Anchorage, I mean literally WALKED! Invite Bob to the Moose's Tooth and tell him to bring his guitar!!!
We even checked out 2 seawolves games at the Sully! Good times! I'll be back there someday, and Bob and I will be looking for YOU!

Welcome Aaron!! I'm an Alaskan trapped in the body of a Georgian. If memory serves me correctly, I have 15 trips to AK under my belt. I worked with "the Guffer" Sherman in Soldotna for a couple of months on my first trip and have been hooked ever since. You never come all the way back from Alaska. Hope to meet you one day soon.

Dear Letterheads,
Go easy on Aaron. He obviously has a drug problem! But as my dad always said, "If the halucination fits, wear it!"
All the best dude,
bp

Thanks all for the warm welcome. LOL Bob you undersell yourself. Ricky I couldn't agree more although Im at a point of impass...sooner then later Im afraid, either I move locals and stay in the biz, open my own shop(Im no where near ready for that) or just move on to something different. Hard to say where life will lead you sometimes...heck I live in alaska and moved here from Vegas.
