Very entertaining game. Colts offensive line was awesome. Chicago defense got wore out.
mental note: spell check before you post.

Good Game! Signdog nailed it, that line was a thing of beauty. And they did it in weather that should have favored Da Bears. But the Bears had Rex and all he had to do was not lose it.

The Bucs won the Super Bowl the year after they fired Dungy.

The Colts took it to us! They are the superior team! The AFC is the stronger conference. Congratulations to all Colt fans! Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning are class acts and they are great representatives of my favorite sport.
I think the Bears will be contenders in the future provided they get the quarterback situation resolved. The not-so-good Rex showed up yesterday. To beat the Colts he would have had to have his best game.
Season-ending injuries to Tommy Harris and Mike Brown diminished a great defense, and it seemed after they were gone the Bears became beatable and they kind of just hung in there. But to win at the big dance you've got to have a great quarterback and great defense and the Colts had it all this year.

Payton Manning - 9 full seasons as QB for the Colts. Wins a Super Bowl in his 9th year.
Rex Grossman - first full year as Bears QB. Gets to the Super Bowl in his first full year.
Give Grossman time to not make rookie mistakes - but make him earn the position in training camp. Brett Favre was just like Grossman in his early years (first 3 years) - and drove Packer fans CRAZY. They wanted his head on a stick!! But ask any Packer fan now and they 'll tell you Favre walks on the waters of Green Bay. Funny how things change.
I'm patient with Grossman as I heard Steve Spurrier (his old college coach at Florida) says Grossman is the best pocket passer he's ever seen play the game. But after all Grossman's injuries I think he's scared to run out of the pocket when things get scary. Give him a few years and he may be great. Or he could suck for the rest of his carreer. You just never know. I'd like to think he'll be the first great Bears QB since Sid Luckman - and that's a damn long time ago!!
The food we had was great - the company great - and the fire was toasty. I've been a Bear fan since I was a baby - but I don't care as much about the wins and losses any more. Just a way to spend the day with friends and/or family. Just a little more fun when its "your" team. Too bad - but I have a life to live now that football is over - yet again.
Now hand me the remote. Time to change the channel and get back to the matter of signs . . .
