What color vinyl do you use for Carolina Blue? Thanks Everyone.

What brand you use will make a difference. Avery light blue is close.

How about in Oracal? After the problems I had with Avery, I have not used any of their products. This is to go on softball helmets. Thanks for the help.

I don't have my Pantone guide handy to match it up with an Oracal chart.

I would probably go "ice blue" with oracal.

Cerelean blue, to match all those blue eyes in NC....

I am more confused than ever on what PMS Carolina Blue is for sure. Brian , thank you so much for the web sites but did you look at them? One said it was 278 and the other said it was 542. Those 2 blues are completely different. I looked at a Pantone chart and the 278 was about 15 parts white and 1 part Reflex blue. The 542 was completely different from that. Could someone please shed some light on this? Where are all those North Carolina fans out there?

I only sent a link to one offical UNC website. It says "Carolina Blue (PMS 542)".
On that page it also says
Department of Computer Science Campus Box 3175, Sitterson Hall College of Arts & Sciences The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Chapel Hill, NC 27599-3175 USA Phone: (919) 962-1700 Fax: (919) 962-1799
You can search for the term "PMS blue" in only the UNC website by doing this:
Since the results are mixed I'd recommend using the contact information above. I don't think you'd find a bigger North Carolina fan than right at the university.
