Hi all just asking if someone can point me in the right direction for checkered flag graphic styles.
I am doing a job on a go kart trailer and need some inspiration as i am stuck for ideas at the moment.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Mark,

The Fontry, I think, did some chequered lettering styles, which they had on a collective font cd for sale here a few years ago, with a heap of prismatic fonts and other stuff.

I think one lot was called racefonts, or brandt eternals or something like that...I'll have to look it up.

Your 'neighbour' Ticks did a FANTASTIC kart sign at a park not far from the highway near Renmark or thereabouts- I remember photographing it a couple of years ago when we drove down- mottled bagged bluey black background, rhodamine script lettering, airbrushed of course. I'm probably wrong, now, but it had just about every colour on it, and was really eye-catching & nice & legible too. maybe it was Loxton, but I thought it was north of the highway...

Yes, Rod, and no...maybe I'm confusing that one with another one at that good amusement park sponsor's board. It's a park with clever swings and flying foxes and things...

Anyway, they're both great!

ps i think you were out when we passed through, and my wife wanted to get on to Adelaide before dark, I would have waited a bit- but this was in March 2005.

Mark, take a look at the vectorart.com site.

You can buy individual designs, makes it quite handy.
