Another 4-10%. Guess those lawyers must have put a dent in their pocket book.

Unfortunatly, yes. I work subcontract for a sign company and that is all he uses. I get to replace the reflective on 3 police cars next week. YAHHH!!!

Hey Mark,
Are you charging a premium for this? You know he's at least getting $24 an hour back from Avery.
I offer no warranty on my work when a client supplies the material or handles the installation. Also, if the client insists on a product I don't like or use, the same applies. If anything, I'll charge extra just for the inconvenience [Smile]

Havin' fun,

Checkers

Since Fellers discontinued BannerCal, I've been looking at calendared vinyls. I liked BannerCal partly for its low sheen. Avery's calendared vinyl looks classy, handles well, but costs a lot more than BannerCal did. I've shunned Avery for a coupla years now after having the good fortune of not being burned by them. I don't feel it would be ethical to support them, but they seem to make the best calendared vinyl now. Doesn't SOMEONE make calendared that doesn't look glossy but has a nice subtle finish?

After their quality control problem, I suspect Avery WILL maintain their standards now. But, would it be right to buy from a company that sat back and failed to recall their defective vinyl while innocent people continued to use it and lost their good reputations?

...

hey Brian, where's the smiley's?? You are joking right?

I know a small minority got some compensation but with so many getting little more then free vinyl of the sort they never wanted to see again... I just figured you'd have a lot of smiley next to a joke like $24 bucks an hour outta those losers.

I'm with Frank, I never got taken either.. but I think they deserve to be avoided like the plague for the exact reasons Frank gave.
