How many hits will the Letterville BullBoard get this year?
Currently 4,426,940 with 16 and a bit days to go. Can't remember what it was last year at midnight December 31st 2005.
I figure 4,570,001 this year.

I was thinking about that just the other day. I remember seeing 4 million roll by sometime early last week. The totals for last year must be on Barb's computor. In 1994, it was 4,261,279.
What do you think this years total will be? Take a guess, and we'll dig up a prize package for the person who guesses the closest.

Scared myself. I thought I was going to miss this post this year. I started to post an answer the other day and got side tracked and never hit send.

Ignore that first one. I forgot that it's Christmas and people tend not to get to political and argumentative and post a lot (gun control posts aside)

"COMPETITION CLOSES MIDNIGHT DEC 30th"
To be fair to those who had an "early" stab at the total you are allowed one more guess if you want to. I'll stick with mine ... that counter hums along in the last 24 hours.
PS: Don't forget to log into #Letterville Chat for the New Year's Eve Party. Stick your head in the door and wish your friends the best for 2007.

I wonder when this one is going to close. Last year I started it on Nov 11 and Steve closed it on Nov 18th. Better hurry up everyone.

I'll tell you what. I'll leave this open until 12 Midnight today. Get in your final guesses before than.
We need someway to confirm the number. There is a chance we may go out to a house party New Year's Eve. If you are here at the BB, and living in Eastern Standard Time, please make note of the counter number as the New Year comes in.
