More from the world of sports:

"I've got an IQ of 160 and people still treat me like dirt." Reggie Jackson
"One-sixty out of what? A thousand?" Mickey Rivers--upon overhearing Reggie's comment
Lots of Mickey Rivers' utterances are as indecipherable as Yogi Berra's, however, like Yogi's, there usually lurks some wisdom in there. One of my favorite Mickey Rivers' sayings is:
"I don't get upset over things I can control, because if I can control them there's no sense in getting upset. And I don't get upset over things I can't control, because if I can't control them there's no sense in getting upset."
That last one really does make sense!

Bill/Deb the quote was originally from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, a french Jesuit/Philosopher (b. 1881). His lifestory is quite a good read if you google him.
One of this other quotes, and one that closely describes what most letterheads do is-
"It is our duty as men and women to proceed as though the limits of our abilities do not exist."
