My Gramma really got steamed when she saw "X-mas" written.... Some abbreviations are unacceptable...

I don't like it either. However, someone told me it is not taking the Christ out of Christmas, rather the X symbolizes the Cross at Calvary and is not ment as a show of disrespect. So I don't get so upset now when I see it...but I still prefer Merry Christmas and I wish y'all one of those. This comment approved by Santa and his Reindogs.
