Our city has those fancy historical black wrought iron looking light poles. We are working on some wayfinding signs that will direct people to the sites in town. The city would like those same type of posts used for those signs. Does anyone have a good source for these? I have a couple sources but I just wanted to get some more styles and prices. Can anyone help?

King Supply has a number of fancy posts and elements. Some are Aluminum, some are steel.

We bought a bunch of posts and brackets from Ornamental Post & Panel - www.opptc.com - and they were fantastic. You'll definately want the pre-drilled and tapped holes so ask about the extra charge on those before you quote your customer.

Why not use the city's source....unless they are authentic antique posts.
Most post companies will modify the post for use with signs and you can use a system attachment for panel signs or you can design your own. It just depends on the size of the job
I have also designed my own poles.....it may sound expensive but wait till you see the prices for stock poles with detailed bases or fluted tapering poles.
By the way thanks for the opptc link...can't say I like the sign panels and hardware but the poles are very nice.

I agree the stuff looked great, I was able to get a cat. but no price list. I figure that I will get that this week , but I might need to make a call first to check on a few prices.
