Congratulations on the new shop!

I've posted pictures here before of our place. The most important thing is to make itreflect the type of work you do. In our case it is three dimensiional stuff and routed pieces. The display space is a work in progress, and it will never be finished. As our work comtinues to develop and as we get into new things our space will reflect those changes.

Pierre's new showroom which he posted pics of this week is a wonderful example of making a showroom work effectively to market the products he wants to do.

Have fun in your new shop!

Welcome Shawn. I especially like your employee, Snitzer. We have one too!
I think your entry should be where you show off! Do some high-end examples of what you can do so that when people come in to order something, you have examples to talk to them about.
Our son had a good suggestion for us. We took one of our older computers and bought a new flat screen monitor of it. It has two main purposes. During the usual work day, it just has a slide show of examples of our work. On rare occasion we have a trucker who comes and waits for his truck. In that event, we have a selection of movies that he can watch or they can surf the net. It gives them something to do and keeps them out of Bill's hair while he's working on their truck. [Wink]

WOW Shawn, great showroom!
You have to do something spetacular with that ceiling height, and fire your painters - unless that's just the first coat [Smile]
The first thing that popped into my mind is something like this...

Havin' fun,

Thanks for your input so far guys, actually the ceiling is coffered (sp?) and will have a large fan hanging down, as well as 8 spot light to direct light to different areas of the walls.
