Got a chance to see someone else's setup yesterday and squares looked like rectangles onscreen. Even if squares are square It's nice to zoom to actual size where an inch onscreen is equal to an inch realworld.

Easy Fix

Tools>Options>Toolbox,Zoom, Handtools

Ensure 'Zoom relative to 1:1' is checked

click on 'calibrate rulers' adjust vertical and horizontal resolutions until scale onscreen is accurate.

Thanks, Mike... good tip.

Squares were square, but at 100% zoom, a one inch square was way off size.

Got 'er dialed in now though...

Cool tip, thanks Mike.

There are probably many things like this that are great with Draw that I've never known or even had the time to think about.

You, and sometimes the inventors too. That's why these threads get started. I've read lots of good info at this BB that's not in the Book. And what's in the Book? About 1,400 pages for Version 9. That's probably the case in other graphic programs. That's an awful lot to learn, and it's always being added-to. I don't believe that anyone could ever know it all. So if you come across something, feel free to let us know.
