Me & the family just got back from an amazing trip to Disney World & Universal Studios.
We usually fly out to Orlando every 2-3 years to take the kids to WDW, but decided not to skip this year cuz the price /time was right for us AND I just had to see the new Expedition Everest ride.
Everest was a huge hit with the entire family - we went on it 6 times! Other hilights of the trip was the Tower of Terror at MGM Studios & the Spiderman ride at Islands of Adventure.
The signwork & window lettering at all parks was absolutley amazing! It was nice to see that someone at Disney used my 2 fonts (and many others from LHF) on sign & window designs!
If you have a chance - you should def take the kids!

I always enjoy a trip to see those two parks. As you noted the sign work is nothing short of inspiring.
I hope you wrote the trip off as educational.... we do regularly.

Im writing this from Disney's Boardwalk right now - been here since Thursday and we're going home tomorow.
Saw a ton of LHF fonts - a bunch at Animal Kingdom. My cousin did a lot of the graphic work at Exp. Everest (he used to work for DIsney - but left to start his own business)
Lots of nice layouts. I especially liked the signage at MGM, as the retro style is something we seem to be doing a lot of lately.
Kids had a blast! We'll be back in May. Thank god for the Disney Vacation Club!!

Just Don't take the kids during any of the Gay Day festivities. Kids just don't understand 2 men kissing on the dumbo ride.
