Yesterday it was $2.46 for regular no-lead here…this morning it’s $2.43!
Do they really think I can handle it if it goes below $2.40!
Some say below $2.00 by Thanksgiving!…it was over $3.00 just two months ago!
This may force me to go buy a big block engine for my old ford wagon!

I'm just going to leave my truck engine running for the rest of the week, in protest.

I have noticed than even with lower fuel prices the two sign supply places we deal with still have a fuel surcharge.... Wonder if they will ever remove that?

Hey Jeff, Our Regular unleaded went down to $2.26 a gal this week. Over in St. Louis (across the river) it is down to $2.07!! Do you think the recent discovery of oil in our gulf area is causing this recent decline? I hope the arabs are running scared. I just put some vinyl lettering on a Saturn two-door all electric car last week. This guy converted it to all batteries from a kit he found on the internet from California. He had enough of the high gas prices and decided to make a statement. More "electric" power to him!
Sign-cerely, Steve

I doubt it. John W. Schoen at MSNBC has a pretty good take on why gas has dropped.

On another note, you're electric bills can't be all that high if you never put your lights on

Well, in Petaluma, the lowest I saw was $2.69. Driving back to Utah I didn't see anything lower. Through Nevada the price was over $3.00. In Elko I saw a Chevron at $3.59, so I drove to the other Chevron: $3.29. Back in Utah it's $2.89. Apparently there is an investigation to find out why the prices aren't dropping the way they are elsewhere.
