He is alive and well! Operation went well and he didn't lose the family jewels! ( I didn't tell that Arab doctor that he is 1/2 Jew!)
He will be in the hospital overnite, then home to recuporate.

thanks to all, last week(thurs 20 aug)i was there in surgury. they took out 75% of the big tumor, and had to stop because of the amount of blood that was in my bladder and they couldnt clear it out and cut anymore. when i woke up last thurs the doctor said he wasnt happy with what he was seein in there and for me not expect the best. sooooooooo...last week was not one of my best, dealing with all the things that COULD be. we went back to the hospital thurs(aug 27)hopin for the best. all thru recovery(2-3 hr)i didnt a doctor and no body was sayin anything about how it went. they finally took me to my room(23 hr overnite they call it)hennie walks in with a the happiest face ive seen on her in couple months. she tells me the doctors talked to her after surgury and they got it all, and the pathology from last weeks surgury was good that the tumors were LOW GRADE C-1 NON INVASIVE!!!! i let out a GLORY HALALUYAAAA THANK YA GOD.....you would thought i was in a revival meeting!!!!!! such a releif. little while later the doctors(notice i said plural)3 of them that was involved in the surgury(now thats some kinda great care)and they all repeated to me what they told hennie. i was so happy i was cryin, and i thanked them with all my heart.....then i asked em if they needed anyboy killed..CAUSE I OWED EM BIG TIME!!!!! they all laughed....so iam home had good nites sleep, didnt even have to get up to go to the bathroom(got a catheter in hahahaha)and will have it the rest of the week. all and all iam happy i got my life back, and all the prayers and well wishes sure did the trick from all of you, iam humbled and thank you all from the bottom of my heart...thank you all!!!

OK YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! i just got off the phone with one of the surgeons, dr. shannon. called to give me the pathology report on last thurs remaining tumor removal. SAME AS IT WAS THE PREVIOUS WEEK...LOW GRADE C-1, NON-INVASIVE CARCINOMA. YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! we talked for 10-15 minutes and he would like me to keep the cath in at least till next thurs due to the fact they dug into the 2nd layer, to make sure no tumor had gone in there and by doing that they was close to the outer wall. leaving the cath in will keep the pressure off the bladder muscle and give it a chance to heal. again thank you all for bein there for me in youre prayers and hearts.

Yep, and it will give you another week before they have to yank it out! Glad you're back OP. BTW, get you some Camas Prarie Tea and start drinking it. It *kills* cancer cells. It's a Mother Earth thing.

OP, Glad you are back to your wondersome self! And you know what therapy us lettervillians are good for!!!! All said and done, I just want to emphasize that you have always been looking out for our health with your info on tofu, and cutting out the bad cholesterols and habits; and taking all the flack for being outspoken in what you know is to help others. All joking aside, your health problems are probably a result of the past when you weren't so health conscious, and here's hoping that others will take your advice to heart as it can help them now before something happens that could have been prevented. It doesn't hurt to use your knowledge of what you've learned and at least try something on the preventative side. Even though my sis was what you would say " a perfect nutritionist", she still came down with breast cancer, and the family was astonished since she had wonderful living habits. But, I still take to heart her knowledge we shared and so with yours- the diet and lifestyle is very important, no matter what we are predispositioned with, not to give up on trying to move forward and love ourselves enough to look at what we are doing, saying and living. Thanks to you OP, I am encouraged. your friend, Deb
