Hey maybe it's just me and my crappy old computer, but Letterville has been realllllllly slow lately. The IMs work OK, but the front page, new topic, the reply, all that stuff seems to take forever to load. I'll log on and it seems that the front page has been the same forever, but then when you go into the Letterhead/Pinhead talk part, there are new replies. If you hit "refresh" sometimes that will update things. I've noticed quite a few double posts too, like maybe this is happening to others. This seems to have been going on since last week. I'm on cable, which is usually quite fast. Wonder what's up? Love....Jill PS I need to get a life!

Yeah, even on my cable connection the BB has been slow to respond.

Definitely here too. Very slow and like Jill said, nothing will change and then all of a sudden there are like 6 new posts at once. Strange.
I've also tried to use the member database search and can't get on it at all.

Seems sluggish to me mostly when posting a new reply or editing an existing one. Might just be a particular trunk of the internet that's having problems.

The member database search has been slow as molassus since the beginning of time. Plus, once you find who you're looking for, half the time the info is out of date.

I have noticed the same thing. It takes quite a while for a response to actually get posted. I have cable internet and no problems with speed.

Yes, very slow here on dial-up, especially replies & edits: airmail USPS may be a quicker option!

Are things better? From time to time the server gets clogged up with junk and needs to be rebooted. I think that has been done. Things seem much faster now.
