Hi Everyone -- I has been a long time since I have visited. Anyhow, does anyone know where to get strap hinges (uncut) wholesale?

Any info would be much appreciated!

Are you talking about the long piano hinges?

My wife's family is familiar with piano repair, and I might be able to get some supplier names.

Nope, not piano hinges. It is some kind of strap that is covered with vinyl or plastic or pvc????? I'm just not sure.

Thanks though! I am sure I will find a solution here.

I once knew a guy that had to make a bunch of little wooden vent doors for his shop. In order to save money on hinges, he got a bunch of square pieces of inner tube, and a staple gun. The flexibility of the squares was the hinge. Are you talking about a plastic material that flexes, or an actual hinge with two rotating pieces and a pin?

Hiya Daye,
I recall reading a recent article in Sign Business from Jay Allen. He said that he has a bunch of plastic hinge (on a roll) left over from a recent display project. Maybe a quck search will turn up his phone and you can give him a call [Smile]

Havin' fun,

Checkers
