I just wanted to drop a note to say that Mass Mayhem was great. I learned a lot and met some great people.
I can't wait to try some of the new techniques. BTW, I forgot to ask what brushes I need for pinstriping practice.

This one is in the books! All went great, no injuries or fatalities. Kimmy, Dali and I just got home. I love seeing all the regulars and making new friends. I have to hand it to Gary and the crew at Cole Sign Co. for taking the reins and running with it. I got a send out some kudoo's to the 'new guy club' Chrimes, Mancini and Gallo headed up the chicken project and all of them jumped right in wiith both feet, great job guys!
I finally got to meet Mark Maj?kawski and his son is just as cool.
Even Dali made a few new friends.
We didn't get many pics... we never do. Dali's new Stepfather Bill Hollaran had a couple of cameras snappin' away and Marsha Peach always gets great shots. I was to deep into the fun.
I also want to thank all the vendors who sent goodies and give aways, especialy Matt Fitzgerald from One Shot, who came personally to debut 2 new colors, both of which were beautiful.
Also would like to thank a few Letterheads would were NOT there in person but were in spirit:
Steve and Barb Shoortreed, without them we may not have made it to Mass Mayhem 2, sorry you couldn't make it.

Thanks to all involved ... had a blast! Driving sucked both ways but in between was a lot of fun, good people, good times!
Got home, unpacked ... Nick had 7 panels he painted (not all finished) ... asks me what he should work on now. Everyone there set a really cool motivational energy.
Thanks

Wow, what a blast!!!!! Hosting the meet turned out to be a lot of fun and not as hard as I had heard it might be. On Saturday my 85 year old father came by to see what it was all about and stayed for several hours. When he was leaving he came over to me and said "What an incredibly nice and talented bunch of people!" I think that says it all. Thank you one and all for coming and I going to start planing next year right away.

Thank you Gary and Ken. I learned a lot and pulled out the brushes today to practice what everyone shared with me. I plan to practice the striping at least 30 minutes every day to improve. Thanks again to everyone.

Great pics Bob & Marsha,
The panel jam was 7 people and the panels actually came out great.
The Chicken project- we thinned slow set gold size with about 15% OS low temp reducer and sprayed the size on at about 10:30pm on Saturday. Sunday morning around 10:30am I layed down the first few sheets, then handed it over to Jimmy Crimes and Lou Mancini, who with a little help from Jeff gallo and Gary Cole spent just over 2 hours applying about 18 books of patent leaf. Great work Jim and Lou.
We pinstriped almost anything we could, beer cans, coffee cup, pizza pie plate, gallon thinner can, even Irish's camera. the clock was a fun project too.
as you can see Bill Hollaran and Dali took a liking to each other.
I gotta give a nod to Teddy Keily who was attending his first meet and jumped right in, he was Jammin with me, Gallo, Mike Z, Jay Z and Don Fearon right away, no fear!

Is the last picture that Bob & Marcia Peach posted what I think it is???? There is a pretty young girl holding a panel that she must've done....M M (fingerspelled M's)... If so, that's pretty special!!!! Thanks for sharing all those pictures.... we're sorry to have missed Mass Mayhem VI!
Geet & Ellen
Posted by Bob Peach (Member # 2620) on :
Yes, Ellen, it's what you think it is. Actually, we gave her that panel. She is Gary Cole's daughter, Emily. She takes sign language and understood what it was. Thanks for noticing...thought it might catch your attention.

Love looking at all the pics. Only thing wrong is that we are not in them.
Who did the Slimie Limie panel? Love the script!
A big thank you to all that continue to host and attend these live meets. It's exciting to see your old pals and meet the first timers. Long live Letterheads!

Thanks, Steve. That Slimee Limee/Carmina panel was one I whipped up for Matt at One Shot. Figured I'd take a crack at the new colors...
