I was on my new scooter going down Main Street and I stopped at the light where there were two guys with a boom truck and a ladder and they were stretching a banner all the way across the street, like 60' long! It was for a festival in Big Fork that was coming up and I didn't think much about it till I went through the intersection and saw in my rear view mirror that the copy on this side was upside down!! I turned around and went back to make sure I was seeing it right and I hollered up to the guy on my side of the street and asked if they had actually read their own banner. He looked at me like I was stupid and I just left laughing. They were both on the same side of the banner with one on a ladder and the other guy on the boom thingie. It was an AWFUL lot of copy on that banner!

That is one of those "I hate to laugh but..." instances. Especially since they thought you were jerking their chain. Posted by Dusty Campbell (Member # 4601) on :
I would have thought you were yanking my chain. Why is it that people always say you spelled it wrong, or it's crooked?
These guys obviously had heard enough of this type of thing they just brushed you off.
It's a double edged sword. I still check though.
1 - "I thought YOU checked it." 2 - "Well I thought YOU checked it." 3 - "I thought you guys checked it. I'm just the helper."
