For those who want a little update...Robert has been striping again this week at some of the dealerships! It takes him a bit longer than normal, but he's doing it! He's also walking now without any assistance. As he gets stronger, he is getting better and better, both mentally and physically! Even with his physical delays, he is straight-line striping near to his "normal Rob abilities"! That means...he isn't his perfect self, but he is striping better than some wish they could! With this great progress, I am sure he will be back to perfection in no time! Some of the therapists said he wouldn't eat, talk, walk, hold a brush...blah, blah, blah...I'm taking him back to that rehab and with brush in hand, we're gonna stripe every wall and piece of equipment...they'll have to call in security...but his paint dries so fast...they'll never get it off! I think it would be worth the drama! LOL! Anyway, thanks to all who have provided much support, words of encouragement, and who assisted through various benefits...way to go Robert Beverly...those rats are outstanding. He put many, many hours into fabricating those and it is very much appreciated! So, with all that said, some of asked for some pics/updates. Click on this link and it should take you to 2 pics that I took yesterday while he was out striping at the dealerships. He's sporting a new look (chin hair) and take a look at his hat....same ol' Rob! http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/nukeslines/album?.dir=/a342re2&.src=ph&.tok=phAje2EBxiIKxEJ9 Thanks everyone! Nan

he's still got a long ways to go...but, he'll do it! Now for sure...I've got to figure a way to have a jam down here in Texas so that we can have a CELEBRATION......!!!! Plus, get those little rats together for a family portrait! LOL! Hey....did you see my dad in Signcraft?!?!? Rob was so irritated (not really)...he said it took him 10 years of hard work to get in that mag and Dad just whipped out his striping brush and didn't even know what he was doing and got his pic in there!!! Whoever submitted that pic...you made my Dad's day...he has told everyone that he's in a famous magazine!!!!! Have a great end-to-your-week and go out and celebrate life this weekend!!! Don't forget to tell the ones you love...you love 'em! You don't know if and when you will ever get another chance! Nan

That's great news Nan! Give Robert our best. We have some wonderful memories of our last trip to Houston. Looking forward to seeing Robert and meeting this babe all the guys are talking about.

Way to go Rob!
I'll never forget that two handed striping demo you did for us in Oklahoma. Knowing you, it won't be long before you can do it again.
