Do you think anyone would be interested in buying my complete collection of Signcraft magazines? No issues missing, Complete set, from the premier black and white issue in the Spring of 1980 up to the current issue. All are in excellent condition. (The first 13 years are in order back to back in 4 thick binders.)
The minumum I think I could take is $500 plus shipping. What do yall think? Anyone interested? Thanks~

I just gave away at least half as many to one of my competitors who at least aspires to become a talented sign maker and designer. At least they will be put to good use. Nothing like passing on the baton.

You are right Bob. As an apprentice, I was lucky enough to purchase a majority of the collection from an older gentleman, who subscribed from the beginning. (By answering his ad in the classified section of Signcraft.) I was indeed grateful and excited when the huge box was delivered to my door. I sincerely devoured them. (Seeing "old school sign craftsmanship" --trying keep the ART of sign making alive--, as well as learning much more about all types and aspects of signage & design in the 21st century.) Now, I'd like someone else to love them and take care of the Sign Crafts as much as I have. I would be selfish and hang on to them, but honestly I am in need of the money at this time. I don't plan on making more than my original investment, (no charge, of course, on 3 years of ongoing subscriptions thats included, since I purchased the collection.) But I hope someone else will see their value and respond. The nostalgia value is awesome, for ex. - it is interesting to see OLD computer and also early vinyl advertisements from about '83 on up. In closing, it's my hope many folks may enjoy the collection, long after you and I are gone. Let me hear from ya!

I could take some pics of the collection and send interested parties pictures of the goods.
I could mail the Sign Crafts to you collect or I could open a pay pay account.
Any ideas folks? Think they'd sale on Ebay? I wanted to give you fine folks, who I love, "first dibs."
Thanks for your comments!

I'll just pipe in to say that the price you are asking is cheap compared to the knowlege and information that is in that collection. Consider it a cheap education.
I aquired a set that completed mine back to the first and all i can say it WOW for the articles and how-to's that are in there. Most of the questoins I see on a regular basis asked on this BB are in those books and the information is from the ones who did the work on a daily basis at the time the article was written.
You can't put a price on that info.
