Saturday I met Frank in a little Utah town called Manti. The Rat Fink Reunion was there, hosted by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth's wife. Frank had invited me to come.

I had a great time. Frank likes to laugh and he shared some good stories. I got to meet Scottie, the infamous hose-thrashing dog. Frank also introduced me to some of his pinstriping friends. It was cool to watch them all work on different vehicles.

I'll have to put that on my calendar for next year.

who said "Frank?"

Posted by Kissymatina (Member # 2028) on :

Yeah well, big deal. I spent the night with him. [Wink]

But then the bum drove something like 400 miles out of his way to avoid stopping by here on his way back to Vegas. Maybe he was afraid I'd take him to our hospital to see if spending the night together there was any different than in Sodus. [I Don t Know]

Seriously, Magoo is great people. Sensed it the moment I met him.

Yeah? well 5 minutes after meeting Magoo for the first time I witnessed him yelling at a shop helper kid almost reducing him to tears, and started wondering what I may have gotten myself into...

then he turns to look at me, with the biggest evil grin I'd ever seen! hahahahaha! [Smile]

Frank, do you have that matching beard back yet? Scotty and you are a great pair, I bet!
Eileen is a great person. I met her at the Ratfink reunion in Dayton a year after his death.
Was she still selling the tshirts, etc? They had a huge array of beautiful artwork on them.

WOW...I'm impressed, truely, thank all of you from the deepest hollows of my heart, last weekend will go down in the books as one of the most spiritual of my life, bar none. The end result is the subject of my new post, which I intend to do as soon as I finish this answer...BUT!! Don't expect to get the whole story, I can't divulge that at this time, at a later date, when back up online, I will explain fully and hopefully ALL will understand then and forgive me for now...

Now!! the parteeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Russ, thanks so much, an absolute pleasure to meet and sorry I had to run off and leave you to your own devices Russ, one the movie, which I felt you really should see, makes me cry like a baby everytime I see it and at that point that nite, I'd already seen it twice and didn't want to cry in front of you, sorry...I hope you found your way home ok, felt bad I left you as I was your host. But to no avail I suppose as my impression of Russ is, he's a survivor, very intelligent and pleasing to be around. His camera makes more noise than he does, lol...which btw Russ, shot of me was me, wiping off artwork and layout on that truck because the owner had just done one of our trades greatest sins, and in that pic, I'm PO'd, big time and had just handed job off to Bobbo, heheheh, talk about timing, heheh

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed Scotty's getting more ink than I am? [Rolling On The Floor] [Rolling On The Floor] Thanks all from him, my little white angel, the Lord loves me, he's proof...amen

Kissy!!! mum's the word girl, sheeeesh!!!
Alicia, YUP!!!
Jack and Si nailed it!!! heheheheh
Bruce, hahahahhhahahahhahahha, no Russ, not yet!!! eheheheh
Ellen, sure missed you and Geet, Ilene sends her best, lots of ppl. asking about you two, sorry to say, this one turned out to be the one not to have missed....
Mark, heheh, maybe should post a shot of that huh? thanks, good idea, sure hope your life is fine, your also one of my favorites, love what you do for your kids man, you're a good person, and I'm proud to have met you...
Pipes, I didn't really yell at him, just using a deeper voice to get his attention, he was fixing to drop a $180,000 race car off it's stands from the wrong side, racecars w/stagger must only be jacked up from one side, otherwise they will destroy setup by bending parts...remember he was just heading in, not listening? Even my nephew was holl, er, deep voicing him that day, heheheh....sure enjoyed that day w/you and are you about ready to pop a hood for me?, I'm just about ready for that stage on the Honda, ready ol buddie? cool, let me know...
Harris, Scotty sure was glad to get his couch back, ahahahahaha
Ro who?
Steve, never know man, might wake up someday and I'll be doing dueln' banjo's on your lawn, lolol
I too would like to meet up for the music someday...

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Don, treating my girl good still? Good man, of course we already knew that, love ya bro...
Kimberly, wherever did you find that shot? It's one of my favorites of him, ain't he cute?
Rick and Kelsey, yes, we haven't met yet, but from all indicators in here, I sure hope to in the future sometime and where, well, Kelsey at least, hahahahhaha

Thanks gang for all the unkind words, it's soul renching, hahahahahahahaha, Lord may we all learn how to laugh!!!!!! [Cool]

Every once in a while you meet someone and they leave a lasting impression on you.
Frank is one of them.

He calls my son "Forrest", has the coolest dog on the planet, whoops my butt when I'm slacking on white vans in California...and can pull a line with the best.

Once you meet him, you'll wanna meet him again.
One of a kind.
