I wanted to paint some woodgrain on vinyl and apply it to a trailer with rivets. Will this work or will the paint separate from the vinyl or will it all conform to the rivets? I will be using 1 shot paint and 1 shot UV clear.

I think it's probably going to separate when it stretches over the rivets. I wouldn't try it.

It won't stretch like vinyl. Your best bet would be to apply the vinyl, then paint the wood grain if you don't want to paint on the body directly.

Just thinking outside the box a bit.....
Why not woodgrain the vinyl as you normally would, cut a hole where the rivet goes, then apply a round dot of vinyl over the rivet and make it look like a knot? It would be more work, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Kylon or vinyl screen inks will stretch no problems.

The One Shot won't stick to the vinyl well at all, unless it's enamel receptive vinyl. So, it surely won't go over rivets. The vinyl ink or woodgrain vinyl would probably be the way to go.
