List something good about your day today. Then list something bad. The next person that follows, list something bad about your day, then good!
Here's mine:
Good - I have plenty of work to output and it does feel pretty good.
Bad - I have absolutely no motivation to carry any of it through today. It's somewhat sunny out and attempting to snow (strange but true) and all I can think about is waiting for Cody to come home and then we're off ice skating. I just wana play today!
Your turn!

Bad. I have no motivation today, possibly caused by the splitting headache I woke up with. Man, I've had hangovers that felt better than this.
Good. At least I think I'm done puking.

The Bad thing is the visual from chris puking.
The good thing it isn't me who's puking

Our little horse is still lust getting bigger every day... we've lost a lot of sleep waiting for the foal to arrive.
On the plus side I am up to my ears in work. Deadlines loom on Monday which is bound to keep me motivated!

It was bad when my printer dried up on my after installing brand new cartridges.
It is great that I LOVE my new HP all-in-one! I'm glad that thing crapped out on me!
It's also good that I'm getting out and curling in a bonspiel this weekend. It's gonna be bad when my muscles are gonna be killing me by Sunday!

Good: I woke up this morning and it's a beautiful day outside.
Bad: Got a letter saying we're being sued. We've been making these free standing sculpture markers for a local art museum for many years. Apparently a little girl was running around the scuplture garden while with her mom. The girl ran into one of the markers and fell and cut her leg on the plaque. Now the museum's insurance company concluded that it's our fault because the marker was sharp enough to get cut on. The face was .080 alum with radius corners mounted on a 2" square tube on a 45 degree angle. We never installed the signs and only built them according to the museum curators specs. They placed them in the garden. To make it worse the mother says the girl was a very talented ballerina (at 8 years old) Apparently she'll never make it to the big time.
I feel bad for the girl but where is the mom's responsibility in all of this. The other irony here is that this piece of sculpture was a double ended canon that worked as a see saw and the museum was afraid of getting sued by someone falling off the see saw. Never figured on getting sued because someone ran into the sign.
Outside of that I'm having a wonderful day and I'm on my way to pick up my precious 8 yr. old daughter, Emma from school and we're going out for ice cream.

Good: Sold a faux 12' tall (like a old steam donkey) steam engine to a theme park. Sold 4 2'x8' "fancy" carved and raised lettering with some gold stuff to a theme park. Sold a 20' cube truck that wil be a "carny" mobile when I get done with it (like the old days) to people with more money than sense.
Bad.. All needs to be done by April 1st. Yea...
Edited to say. Did I mention that I have no help at the present time?

Bad- sorry I haven't considered it- except that maybe it's just that I'm exhausted!
Good- we had our local agricultural show today- I entered a heap of photos in different classes, got several firsts, a few seconds, and champion print of the show, also first with an airbrushed portrait of Sarah our youngest daughter, Hannah our oldest won most points if the Junior photography classes, plus several 1sts, 2nds & 3rds with various horses in different classes, Nicholas (who's 10) got a 2nd with a drawing of his (out of 25 entries of all ages 16 and under), plus a first in a ridden class (his first time riding at a show), and we took out Champion Stallion, Ch. Mare, Reserve Champion Mare, and half a dozen other firsts is stud classes with the clydesdales (there were 22 to compete against), so it was a tiring but successful day, and the kids did really well. Oh, & Andrew got a 2nd for some marshmallows he cooked.
So, no negatives except for exhaustion!

Bad: Brother in law's youngest twin son had life support turned off. Harry Malone: TOD 5:30pm 27/02/06
Good: Twin brother on life support, prognosis good so far.
Although I'm not usually prone to this sort of thing, I cannot think of anything harder for a parent to bear.
