It's been a while since we have posted - but wanted to share with our Letterhead friends that Sarah and her husband Steve have blessed us with the birth of our first grandchild. Madeline Valerie was born on February 15 (yes - life has been a whirlwind since then! lol ) she was 7 lbs 15oz and 21" long - Everyone is doing very well - "Grumpy" is thrilled - not that he would admit it! lol He hasn't admitted to plans for the next generation yet - but who knows!

Wow! Valerie that is wonderful! I would love to see a photo of Sarah with Madeline. What a beautiful name. Will her nick be "Maddie".

I'll bet you thought life was good, well now you will see just how much better it will be with a grandchild. Ask the man who knows, I have 14 and am very lucky they are all good and healthy. I have been waiting for the news ever since we were in Atlantic City.

Congratulations, Valerie, Duane & family! You must be SOO excited! We just had our first grandchild too, born the end of December. We've only gotten to see him twice but he is coming to visit this weekend! There's nothing like spoiling a GRANDBABY! ENJOY! Hope you live close enough to spoil her regularly!

Thank you all - we are thrilled - it is nice that they are now close by. They bought a home about five minutes away - so we are definitely a big part of their support staff! lol This link will take you to her picture:

Congratulations, Valerie! (my sister's name is Valerie, so I'm a bit partial). Bless your little one Madeline, what a grand name, Grandma and Grandpa! How wonderful life will be for you now. I'm expecting my fourth and fifth, as they are now in combination about 11.5 lbs. My daughter just had her ultrasound today. Have fun, take care of yourselves!
