We have a place in Shamrock. I heard a pilot say
that he was leaving the Shamrock fire to go to the OK City fire.

So can you give a update from the front lines?

My place is 6 miles s. of Drumright.

I'm in Weatherford in the Western part of the state and all is good here. They have been pretty bad in that area NE of OKC.

Hope your place is spared.

I tried to Google several variations of "fires in Shamrock OK" but but only got the vaugest informatin.

Now I also know the name of the mayor of my little second home town.
