A local 20 year old stationed in Iraq was killed while leading a convoy. His Humvee hit a land mine. He died Oct 10.
This is a print I made for his fathers truck today. He will be here tomorrow to see it. Whatdya think??

It's beautiful! Won't be a dry eye in his household for awhile.
Edited to say:
What machine are you using for the prints Jerry? They feather so well!

Brought tears to my eyes. I imagine his family will really appreciate the obvious feelings that went into producing it.
Very nice work Jerry

Thanks for the kind comments. I only met him once while lettering a snowmobile for him. I got choked up a few times while designing it.
Donna - We use a Versacamm. The blend was made in Corel 12 using the transparency tool.

Well done, Jerry. Posted by Tony Ray Mattingly (Member # 469) on :
It is unfortunate that this young man lost his life so young and a life ahead of him. I wish we could bring everybody home but I realize we have to finish the job and stay the course. I just hope it was not all for nothing.

I pray to God I never have to do one of those but that is a great tribute Jerry.

Very nice tribute piece.
A little over a year ago, my brother-in-law was in a Humvee accident over in Iraq- IED blew up and threw the vehicle in a drainage canal (think swampy sewer) He was under water for over 10 minutes before he was found. Technically he had drowned. He was revived by a couple of brave soldiers while under heavy fire. One guy got a purple heart for taking several bullets while he was providing cover for the rescue. He was very fortunate and survived the drowning.
