To those of you who believe in the power of prayer (and even those that don't) I am asking for your help.
As some of you know, my son Mike was recently married to a wonderful woman, Julie.
Julie's mother, Alma Bunting, has been diagnosed with lmyphoma. She has a grapefruit size tumor next to her bladder, and the cancer has spread throughout her lymph system and bone marrow. Yesterday a stint was inserted and she begins chemo Monday.
Alma is a tremendous Christian lady and is facing this enemy with a super postive attitude. To her it is a win/win situation because of her faith in life continuing after her time here is finished.
Please don't turn this thread into a religious debate - just pray or have some positive thoughts sent her way.
I'll keep you posted on the answer.

I'm sorry to hear that news, Raymond. It should be a happy time for Julie and Mike and then this happens.
Tell them that some Okies are doing their small part on this end.

We will also pray with you. My wife Patti has been undergoing chemo, surgery and now radiation therapy for breast cancer. We believe Prayers have made a big difference. Also a friend who is a Nurse convinced us to have Patti take a regimine of supplements. She started taking these on a daily basis before chemo started and continues throughout the treatment. Her doctor had no issue with the supplements. We also give these supplements credit, because Patti had the absolute minimal side effects from the chemo. If you have any interest in details, e-mail me.

Raymond, We'll be praying too. The news of supplements sounds wonderful and glad that was posted. Bless her.
