Here's my early Christmas present, my new grandson at 2 weeks without the tubes. He spent 8 days in the incubator. He just needed a little help for a while but everything is fine now. He's been home for a couple weeks now, gaining weight and doing great.

With someone that precious around, how do you possibly get any work done?

Kimberly, His name is Landon Edward Lawson.
Dave, Unfortunatly my daughter and son in law live in Texas and I'm in Michigan. We're going there for Christmas so I'll have about 5 days to spoil him.

Congrats Dave, I can't speak for having them as grandkids, but they are a blessing as your own kids, so I'm sure they are every bit as sweet as grandkids.

Grandchildren are God's reward for not killing your kids...
Seriously, I am so happy for you and your family, Dave! That is just so cool!

Dave,
Where in Texas? I have it on good authority that there's lots of extremely cute and talented grandchildren in Texas and more are coming. It's a big state and there's plenty of room.
I've also heard through the grapevine that there are even a few of those precious, precocious progeny North of the 49th parallel, not to mention those in the space between the 49th and the Red River.

Dave, they live in Corinth north of Dallas... looks like about 18 miles from you according to MapQuest.

Now, that's a handsome young man ya got there, Dave!
By the way, you've been missed on Letterville chat. Any way you can sneak us in once a month anyway?

Dave,
Corinth is just up I-35E from here. If you promise not to bring any of that Michigan weather with you, we'll save you some nice Texas winter days to enjoy.
