Hi Diane,

I will be there all 3 days. I'm taking Dan Antonelli's and Doug Downey's seminars and will be hanging out in the bullpen watching the masters at work.

Look forward to meeting you and Ernie.

Thanks,
Steve

I will be there too, they invited me, isn't that nice?

I'm gonna go to the bullpen too and dust off my pinstriping cobwebs and do a panel... last year was too much pressure with Mr. J and others mocking my pinstriping abilities (they didnt know I could pull a brush 'back in the day'!!

Posted by captain ken (Member # 742) on :

Bill, they know why they keep inviting you back... always a crowd pleaser!

Dan, dont let them Excalibur guys push you around, he is just making up for his short brush hair!

Steve, I look forward to seeing your unique style first hand.

see you all next week.

Dan...is that brush a Mac?

I know the feeling about the pressure from Mr. J. One year I was invited to join the One Minute pin striping panel blitz and received some gentle reminders that I wasn't a striper. But it was still fun.

All y'all (that's plural for y'all) have a great time. Wish I could be there. And the best of luck to Doug and Dan, but they don't need it...they have talent.

Dan; seems someone forgot their roots...big problem w/some celebrity painters.....

Raymond, you stripe? Me? I'm coating out some MDO.

Happy turkeyday to all y'all, heheh, got to love those okies..........did I spell that right? or is there a wrong?

Posted by Raymond Chapman (Member # 361) on :

Frank - I'm just good enough at striping to be dangerous. No real threat to anyone, though.

Just recently I bought some new brushes and hope to practice a little before Fred's so that I can do a panel there. I feel a little like an outsider with all those pinstriping "gods" standing around everywhere.

Ray, don't sweat it.... Glen Weisgerber never wants to stripe when he is there, everyone pressures him into it! He told me he'd rather hang back and watch and give a few pointers etc. A true Letterhead!
So everyone going, if you see Glen, or think you see Glen (never can tell! He's about 6'2" and has a tattoo on his left hand that says GLEN, other than that, nobody knows what he will look like).... Don't pressure him, instead, ask him to watch you work and give you some pointers.
I won't be there (2nd time in 8 years), but I wish everyone luck and a Great Time!
Just pick up a brush and paint! Sorry Alan!

We can't make the show this year, but I know there will be plenty of Letterville users and Merchants attending. If you are a Merchant with a booth in Atlantic City, please let all know where to find you by posting below.

Im a gonna be there slingin paint on substrates in the bullpen again this year. Hopefully if i get paid for a job in time I can stay down there this year, though maybe Ill save the money so I can buy myself some new brushes again this year.
See you people there.
Oh and Doug, Glen does have a chameleon like effect. I got to meet him finally last year for about 2 minutes, maybe Ill have to get him to spend some more time with me this year.

Its always a fun time at that show and its a short ride from home for me, only an hour hehehe, Imagine that only an hour to paint some panels. Thats the shortest distance I have ever gone to have so much fun with paint in a long time.

I will be there manning a booth just inside the entrance - to the left a little. Booth # 300. This will be our 15th year there and I am looking forward to meeting some of you letterheads there. Stop by and say hi. The bad news is, this is the last show that we will have our current prices on our tape tools. We have not raised our prices since 1997 and we have to in order to stay in business. I hate to have to do it but it has to be done. I don't mean to advertise my product here on the chat but thought I should let you know. Anyhow, interested or not in out product, please stop by and introduce yourself.
Regards,
John

I got my free passes for working in the Bullpen, but I was just in NJ for the holiday, and don't want to make the trip again! I know Harry Henkel will be there, he is my mentor... I am most certain Alan Johnson will be there, and Howie Nisgor, two other guys who have been mentors to me as well. Great bunch of guys to get to know and watch.
Some tips... Eat at the Borgotta Buffett, make sure to be HUNGRY! Travel in groups on the boardwalk and be aware of your surroundings... AC isn't that nice of a place. Also, check out the Rainforest Cafe, pretty cool place with GREAT food and fruity drinks!
