Hi, I want to share this idea with those into striping that like to use a mahl stick. I had the idea that a heavy aluminum wire could be bent around to accommodate the curves on a vehicle. A few days later I found this in a garbage can already bent to a perfect shape for my hand! I added a file handle and a rubber grommet. Hope to use it sometime if I ever get a job. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-6/1039013/AdjustableMahlStick.jpg Posted by John Lennig (Member # 2455) on :

I gotta bit of #8 fencing wire I ran over in the driveway you can have Ian. Looks a bit like that!
My "little pinky" mahl stick is stuck to my right hand ... yer can't have that!!!
Must admit, there is a telescopic pointer that came with my OHP in my brush kit that I use in dire emergencys to keep my sticky pinkies off the surface, other than tape the end of my finger
