So, give the editor of our groups' namesake magazine a hard time - by email or phone. He's one hell of a guy - and one of my best friends in this business.
But on his 40th birthday he is roadkill - like everyone is when they hit that milestone - and therefore subject to good natured kidding and age jokes.
If it is any consolation, the 40's are the new 30's, Jeffrey P. Enjoy the day, friend!!

Happy Birthday Jeff!
Just tell everybody you are now in your late 30's. you know like when someone dies and you refer to them as the 'late' so and so.
Just be careful... time goes WAY faster from here on out. Enjoy EVERY second.

Like Dan says, time will fly now! Why, just the other day I turned 40 ... and now I'm er, uh .... older than that.
(thought I'd spill the beans and tell my age didn'ya? Fat chance!)
Happy Birthday Young Blood!

Well Jay, Thanks for remembering. I am going to use your tip & start telling everyone I am older than I am, say 46, & hopefully I'll get the "you don't look that old" response. Thanks everyone, it was a great day here in Pittsburgh, we spent the entire day together with my family, breakfast in bed from my daughter, the afternoon at the Zoo, & dinner out with the family & a close friend. I feel like I'm just getting started & that I am truly blessed. Thanks everyone for the wishes. Jeff

Happy Birthday Jeff, now that you are older, look out for those killer sandwiches they serve at our last meet. If you are able to open your mouth that big, you will probably throw your jaw out of location. Always looking forward to the next copy of AMAL.
