Jason...Make sure you are assigning a "hairline" pen outline to your objects. That is the number one thing that folks forget to do.

Also, be sure to use the "print preview" option to make sure that everything you want to cut is in the same position in the preview window as it is on the working page.

OK Jason...Check the print preview option as mentioned above.

Also, be sure that every dip switch on the right end of the cutter is in the down position.

There is no need to convert text to curves but if you want to it won't make any difference.

As a starting point, make your working page layout 22.99"x62.99" (landscape view) and place the graphic near the top or bottom left corner of the page. When you are in the print dialogue window click on the "print preview" button and make sure that what you see there is exactly the same as what was on the working page.

PS..AMD is fine..that is one of the computers I use. driver 2.7 is a good one. and WinXP SP2 is also fine.

You say it starts to work, just what does it do? Does it start to hum, then the lights start to blink? Does it actually start to cut, then stop?

Dave is it possible for me to cut from my anagraph plotter directly from Corel 12?

Bob...After I saw your comment on another thread yesterday I spent about an hour searching for a Windows driver for Anagraph cutters but came up with nothing.

You might try calling them directly and asking them for a Windows driver?

I know they will try to sell you their Design Art (or whatever it is called) but if you INSIST (as I know you can) they might just break down and tell you where to get one.

Glad to hear that it was something simple Jason! I learned quite a while ago to not bother moving stuff around in the preview window. I just leave the setting at the top left of the preview "as in document"

bob does your anagraph connect thru the printer port or a comm port? if its comm port it wont work.....corel/roland work thru printer port and plotter reads HPGL from corel.

Comm port...I spoke with Curtis today, he has the same plotter I believe and didnt think it would work.

Dave I already have DesignArt to drive my plotter with. I export my plot file from Corel as an .AI file, then import into Ana and cut away. I was just looking to find a more direct way without using a bridge.

Thanks for taking the time Dave to look into it.
