Is there anything in Rapid Tac that may cause issues if used to dislodge water that someone might have stuck in their ears?

I don't believe so Mike.
I was out steelhead fishin a few years back, slipped and slid down an embankment into a barbed wire (rusty) fence,got the Rapid Tac outa my tackle bag and used it for killing any germs in the wounds.
Yes I use it as fish bait enhancement as well, fish are attracted to that vanilla fragrence.

I use rapid tac in place of vanilla flavoring and rapid remover makes nice lemonade...gets rid of worms too...kinda warm feelin' goin' down...makes a nice orange flavored air freshener.
Seriously though, I had to remove some letters at a jobsite Saturday and forgot to bring along the rapid remover. After peeling the letters off, I used some rapid tac and a little elbow grease and the adhesive residue came off. I would have been in a pickle without it.

In Aledo this year, we had to get some permanent marker lines off some white aluminum baked enamel faces...after trying everything in Micheal's shop, I tried some Rapid Remover, and yes, it took a little rubbing, but they DID COME OFF. !

It also works great to clean off the extension cord that has all that black goopy buildup on it.

Roger, thanks for the samples...they work great. I did my first vehicle windows with Rapid Prep and Rapid Tac today, both of which I got from Ameriban. But what about your other products? Why doesn't Ameriban carry the full line? I've already removed some hopelessly stuck protective paper from an acrylic face using Rapid Remover....I can't believe I used to use paint thinner for that! What a difference! You can count on me to spread the word.

Roger, have you had enough rain to open the rivers already? We're still at least a month from steelhead. Also, do you tie berries and have you found a way to get them to stay on barbless hooks?

Rick, an old fishin buddy from Oregon showed me a knot that starts in the eye of hook, then circles the few eggs and skeen.
Telling you how to tie it would probably be the toughst thing for me to do this year, but the knot is similar to the one I use to tie on my fly hooks. In either case, as good as I feel it works, it still only afords me (at best) 6 or 7 casts in slower water, 3 in the fast riffles.

I pour it into my bank deposit bag, and by the time I get to the bank, I have many pieces of paper with runny ink. Awesome stuff! Its also the secret ingredient in my special. BBQ sauce. Makes the sauce stick to the ribs better.
Someone once told me to use it before installing vinyl onto a surface. Go figure! What will they think of next?

George, I use it all around the house too. Combine it with Huggies Natural Care baby wipes and you will become the ultimate cleaning machine. Terrific at getting stains out of carpets also.
Roger, Might want to re-lable some bottles and expand your market.

I use Rapid Tac along with blank newsprint paper to clean mirrors and windows around the house and vehicle, but aside from that it's a bit spendy to use as a general cleaner! It's best left to the vinyl app jobs where I can charge for using the stuff and make money on it!
I use good ol' bleach to clean everything else around the house... all bathroom surfaces, floors, counter tops, etc... it's the only cleaner you need, except maybe for vinegar to clean glass.

Rick, If you were serious about keeping berries on a barbless hook, why not try a hair-rig?
I love Rapid Tack and Rapid Prep, but Rapid Remover smells so bad that i hate to use it (even though it works very nicely). Some spilled in my car once on the way to do an install and it smelled for a week.
The bottle of Rapid Remover we have looks way older than the rest of the Rapid stuff -- maybe they changed the secret recipe by now and made it smell less terrible Posted by Ron Carper (Member # 999) on :

This is a palomar knot, and if you do your own egg curing, instructions to tie it are on the backside of the "Procure" bag. Or it should be on the net somewhere. It is a fabulous knot!

Yes Tim, it is a great one, kinda like a slip knot, once you tie it and finaly loose the eggs, you just grab it and pull and its open and ready for the next group !

Hey btw, spray a little Rapid Tac on them eggs, watch the bucks come in, it just takes a small squirt then wait a minute and cast.
