Well, after many years of business and several months of crunching the numbers, we finally rented us a shop to run our business out of. Now if we can just get all our stuff in there we should be ready to roll!!

Congratulations Keith, It's really nice to get up and leave home and actually go to work at a different location. I know that there's benefits to having a shop at home, but it's nice to go to work as well.

Congratulations! What a great looking place. So...tell us about it...how big, etc.
Don't get so big that you miss Fred's this year.

Nope, already looking forward to going to Fred's, wouldn't miss it.
My part of the building is 2200 sq feet, rented for about 18 cents a sq foot Hopefully it will help to increase the business a little bit, and within the next few years (or months) allow me to go full time with it.

Nice looking place. You're paying about $400/month for 2200 sq.ft.??? Is that correct? Is it in a decent neighborhood?
I'm not trying to be negative in anyway. I just can't believe how much cheaper everything is outside of Florida when it comes to renting a place. I would be in a 10' x 10' shed in the backyard of a house in the hood for that price, maybe more.
Congrats! I'm sure you'll do well with it.

You got that right Amy! Ther is a new owner taking over the building I'm in and my lease is up in Feb.I'm paying 1200.00 per month now and this guy paid way too much for the building, so here goes the overhead. I have 2000 sq. ft. by the way.

Yup, 400 bucks a month, it is downtown. There's two banks across the street, so yes it's still a good neighborhood, just in a smaller town.
The cool thing is that the building was fixed up for the owner's daughter's dance studio which went out of business, so it has two brand new heating and A/C units.

Now all you need is a nice sign on that wall!

Not a tree hugger are you, Si? You plucked that thang right out of the ground.

Tree? what tree? I don't see no tree!
