I've searched for over 2 hours now and can't find any good USMC "Devil Dog" art.

We're trying to find the bulldog wearing the floppy campaign hat, which appears on a red patch with yellow thread, and that patch can be bought anywhere.

I even have the patch, and I could scan it and just print a 12" Edge print. This just isn't the best way to go for lettering this old 1946 ford truck this x marine client of mine is fixing up for local parades.

There has to be some art that created the basis for the sewing patch.

Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance! [Smile]

Have you got a link to one of the patches or can you email me a copy of the one you've got?

I scanned and vectored one a customer brought me a couple of years ago but I can't remember if he drew it himself or cpied something.

I'll look when I get to the shop tomorrow.

Dave; "There has to be some art that created the basis for the sewing patch." There is a good chance the first one, was handsewn....most are...

Dave, I did a Google Image Search and came up with this.

Easy to print it out, trace, scan, and vectorize.
Is this the right one?
There were a few other non-patch renderings.
Not the prettiest thing, but most bulldogs aren't.
Love....Jill

Thanks everyone!

The butt head decided not to do it now...arghhhhh!

He said his wife was giving him a lot of static over this truck, as he probably spent a fortune fixing it up.

EX-Marine stopped cold in his tracks by a wife. hahahahahahahahahah (big tough guy, eh?)
the sad thing is it happens all us guys! [Frown]
