Its been a slow start to the week. Yesterday was a holiday, Canadian Thanksgiving. We celebrate like our American friends... lots of turkey with friends and family. There was no work done yesterday.

Today I had Phoebe for the whole morning while Janis & Bec were out... no real work done here, but I enjoyed a nice slow start after way too much great food yesterday. I took her for a cruise on her chopper, had some platz from the deli and she took a long nap on my lap while I answered my email correspondance typing one handed. None of it was efficient, but I enjoyed it none-the-less.

I had lunch at my desk enjoying the fabulous colors of the tres on the mountainside outside my studio windows. Its time to work and while I should get cracking, I think I'll instead take advantage of the warm sunshine and ride the John Deere over the long grass and many leaves fallen from our big old maples.

I'll work into the evening instead.

Have a great day whatever your task today...

Router payment. Router payment. Hear that little voice that keeps whispering in your ear? And you are just loafing the day off. What kind of example is that?

We celebrated Thanksgiving last night also. The lady that Mike is about to marry is from Canada, so she cooked the traditional meal for us. I thought we would have something like moose lips or beaver feet, but it was just turkey and dressing...just like us normal people.

I'm really proud of you Dan. A whole post and not one mention of your router's name. Of course, I did see you managed to make a few points with John Deere.

That's hardly fair Raymond.... I mean I have the MultiCam Router and I am VERY THANKFUL... and yet you get to have Thanksgiving (and turkey) twice this year.

Maybe you are just REAL thankful for me?

Dan, I read your post during the day while I was working away in my dungeon downstairs. (my production room is NOT pretty, it's full of garage crap)

I so wanted to flick off the computer and go a good round with my lawnmower or just do some gardening in the sun. Just go play, anything other than being inside.

What stopped me is that I took cody to daycare to get my work done. That keeps my nose to the grindstone. If I'm paying for daycare, I work to pay daycare. Phooey. Wish I could just kick a day off and enjoy.

Perhaps I'll do just that tomorrow. If Cody is home, I won't feel so guilty not working. [Smile]

(to others not in the know, school teachers are currently on strike here)
