Realizing that I have been in the sign business for a few years, I have to ask a very simple question. Have not used nu-alum ever and am humbly asking...what type of circular saw blade would best cut this 4 X 8 in half? Guess I need a life other than MDO.

I use either a Metal Cutting Fiber Blade... or an High Tooth Count Carbide Tipped Blade..

Speaking of saws, We had a guy in our area to committ suicide to the jugular with a circular saw last week! It was very effective. I am serious as a heart attack.

Hey Lynn, good to hear from you buddy. If nu-Alum is like DiBond or Alumalite, I cut this on my panel saw all the time. I just had to buy a new blade. The best blade for cutting metal and wood with the same blade is a ATB (Alternate top bevel). I just got mine from Fastenal. It's a Porter Cable 7 1/4 inch 40 tooth ATB #12820. $25.24

Good luck.

Hey Dave, been a while. Will check out the blade you suggested from our local hardware store.
