Actual laying out pounce patterns, masking and lettering, 7 hours one day & 8 hours the next, about 8 hours making and pouncing the patterns on the plotter.. The base colors were already painted by the flooring contractor.. thanks.

Nice to see what the finished job looked like!

I'd say you got paid very well. It's worth more because of being on your knees the whole time tho. Very nice job!!

Well it wasn't quite $200 per.. subtract materials, gas, etc. We still cleared about $4700 .. as for the pain , it goes away on its own in a couple days! Thanks again Dave for your help!!!!!

Frank, The knees are just temporary I think the "pulling" of all the muscles and crap are the worst!!!!!! I remember as a little kid going on a march with Cesar and his clan (I didn't want to say gang!) With my parents and siblings.. Now I'm just yer average brown guy! LOL!!

If I was related to Cesar, I would have had first shot at painting that, not Pee Wee...Does Krylon with a fat cap stick to wood? [Razz]

Just curious- in case I ever get the opportunity to do some floor painting....You mentioned the lettering was done in one shot....did you have to clear over that and if so what did you use? Nice job by the way!

Us sign folks usually sub-contract basketball floor graphics to the flooring contractor who puts 3 coats of clear polyurethane over our work.

As Frank said.. One shot then clear coat. Out here in California the flooring contractor uses only water based clear...I just scuff up the base coat a bit with a red scotchbrite pad and paint away!!!
