this truck is a medium blue and we can not choose colors to use on it( the company colors are yellow and blue) so is the paint.
whats a sign guy to do?

Well Chris, Without seeing the truck, I would suggest using panels and shades. Using an outline and a dropshade will help to isolate the different/similar colors.
Using white will also work in some instances, since it is a "neutral" color.
