The post about real-estate signs reminded me ...

Where can I find the white plastic trim cap (u-channel) for 1/2" materials ...
that can ship a few dozen 8 footers?
Regular supplier has had them on back order for three weeks ... used up all my scraps ...
no big rush, but it's like toilet paper ... know you're gonna need it sometime.

Mark, have you checked your local lumberyard.. Mine stocks it here and they call it vinyl J bead, or 1/2 sheetrock cap
costs like .79c per 8 ft length..

Custom Cut Aluminum
I just got some there last week. 1/2" x 98" pieces and they were $3.49 each. Gina and Monica are the girls to talk to in sales.

Mark, Who'd your supplier?
I get it from Garston and Hart. But I believe Grimco and New England Sign Supply carry it too.
Do you ever use any of them?

Hiya Mark,
Check out Harbor Sales.net $2.64 for the 98" and you can order online.
If you do call, be sure to let them know that you learned about them through here. I've been trying to advertise here for a while.

Havin' fun,

Checkers

You might try ProEdge

or Outwater Plastics.
http://www.outwater.com/
If nothing else, order a copy of Outwater's cataloge. My wife picked up my copy of their architectural products cataloge and won't give it back.

Garston (couple miles from my house)is supposedly getting their next shipment in towards the end of July ... in between now and then thanks for the alternate sources.
My googling turned up squat.
I'll pass the info to the boss and let him make the next move.

Pat, you can download the Outwater catalog (section at a time) from thier website.

[Thanks]
