Pat...You're Versa Camm is here!
Posted by Nevman (Member # 332) on :
Mike, Are you saying there will be a VERSA CAMM in Mazeppa? I REALLY want to see one of those in action!
Posted by Nevman (Member # 332) on :
Hey Barb...
I'm giving a seminar about digital printing...date and time still to be determined.
The folks at Roland have graciously sent a VersaCamm down because that is the machine of which I am most familiar. The seminar is more based on the profitability, application, and techniques using the machine as opposed to the technical aspects (RIPs, calibration of the machine, etc). There will be Reps from Roland to address those issues.
See ya in a coupla days...

Hey Mike, Can we play with your time machine while we are there? I noticed the date on the mall of america pic is Nov. 07, 2005. hehehe.

Hey Pat!
What programs will you be using to be running that Moesheen? I will be burning a CD with a few designs on it for Mike.
Thanx
Stevo
Posted by Dave Sherby (Member # 698) on :
hey Mike. Any chance there will be a sand blast cabinet at your shop? I'd like to try a glue chipped glass project. If not I will try to squeeze in the etching part here. I want to have Stewart help me with the gold leaf.

John Jordan...have a good trip. Take care of yourself. You're going to be gone for quite awhile globe-trotting.
Thanks again for the nice visit with you in Sydney.
Posted by Nevman (Member # 332) on :
Stevo...sorry I couldn't get to this sooner...busy weekend & I usually don't get on the site over the weekends.
As to your question...I'm not sure which programs the Reps are bringing but I brought Corel 9 to load on any compter they let me use. So any format pretty much will do. I'd be glad to use your files for the demo to show how to get images to print.
See ya about 15 hours...

Dave, Mike's bro, Tim here (handling logistics & details of the meet). Yes there will be a sandblast cabinet there. At least that's what is planned.
