Happy Friday! I love weekends!!!!

I've got a full day of work today, and then I'll be unleashed! hahahaaa

Tonight we are heading out to a concert right on St. Pete Beach. Totin' our beach chairs and coolers and we are relaxin' with friends out by the Gulf! I'm looking forward to that.

Tomorrow after a quick exercise class, I'm off to do yard work! [Smile] Crazy, but I actually kind of enjoy yard work. Lot's of stuff in bloom right now. We'll probably kick back with a good movie and popcorn tomorrow night. Sunday is a tinker around the house day. I'll take a run in the park, and then come back and just clean, organize... etc around the house. I may even tackle cleaning out the garage, if I'm feeling industrious!

What's up for your weekend?
Nettie

I'm working - it's SO busy here.

I'd also like to paint my bedroom... BUT... I started painting it several weekends ago - went out and bought the paint one Saturday morning - only to realize that I - a) had to remove the ugly, 30-year-old wallpaper that was on the wall when I bought the place, b) had to fill the cracks, c) had to sand everything, d) wash the friggin' walls, e) remove the $^&*! baseboards, window trim, etc., f) do I have to paint the #$*&%@ ceiling first??????

Maybe the bedroom will wait - again....

Sounds like an awesome weekend ahead nettie!

LOL Janet!!!

I recently had a contractor come and do some work on the wrap around veranda. He's now done and it's up to me now to catch up and get painting seriously!

I've arranged for cody to go to his friend's sat and his friend come here sun so I can get in double duty on the painting. It's alot of work. 3 tone, lots of cutting in. I'm already tired... free beer and pizza for anyone who shows up to help. [Smile]

I plan to squeeze in a little playtime around that. Just haven't quite figured out how and where yet.

I'll be at the beach photographing jetski races, I'm now the official photographer for the local promoter. Last weekend I took photos of a race in Long Beach, CA.

Today I have a few jobs to finish up then tonight I'm setting up my EZ-UP, a couple beach chairs and a couple t-shirts so I can put my logo on them.

The weather turned cool again, so I'm not jumping into yardwork just yet. I didn't get those signs painted yesterday, so I'm kinda looking forward to cranking up the tunes and working on it this weekend. I think Don and I are going to the movie tonight (Boogyman) hope I don't have nightmares.
Don's working all weekend, so I'll probably do some of the same. Plus cleaning and laundry of course, maybe have friends in for supper Sat. night.

It's Operation Birthday Party here - Samantha's 8th birthday which means we have a kid's party from 12-3 and then after 3 the adults start arriving and it becomes a grown-up Cinco de Mayo party and goes till all hours.

We'll be cooking all day today and I have three birthday cakes to make. One has to be an ocean theme - fish and dolphins on it - for when the kids are here. The other two - really one big one - is a two-tiered carousel that even has carousel horses in the middle and flowers all over. In the past I've made different flavor cakes for each part but we're sticking with rich dark chocolate this year simply because it's easier. For the ocean themed cake, I printed out this really cool leaping dolphin on card stock, cut it out for a stencil and I have some food-safe aerosol food coloring (kinda like an airbrush lol)and I'm going to spray one on the top of the cake.

Fajitas, margaritas and birthday cake here tomorrow! Who's coming?!?!?!?! (Come on Frank! It's only 5 hours up and over the hill!!)

Hey Kim,

I was suppose to install a sign on Saturday...but now I have to wait for the diggers hotline boys to complete their work!

So, I guess I will be stuck watching the old Nascar fellas circle the track down at Talladega.WooooHooo

have a good one ya'll

Tonight a beer or two. This weekend, still trying to clean up the yard from the hurricanes last year. Like Donna I'll offer free beer for anyone who wants to come cut trees!!

I'm hoping I'm finished in time to get our little pool up for my daughter's b-day in June.

June is the start of hurricane season all over! UUGGHH!!

I think I'll start out the weekend with a half-gallon of MD 20/20 and a bag of pork rinds.
Then tomorrow morning I'll wake up bright & fresh and go out for a Brazillian wax followed by a root canal.
Then I'm going to go downtown and shake hands with every person that comes out of the bathroom at the Greyhound station. Then I'll hitchhike home.
Sunday it's off to church, followed by a long hike through jagger bushes and poison ivy without the benefit of a compass or sunscreen. Then home to undercooked chicken on the grill with a side of potato salad that I forgot to put in the fridge during my MD 20/20 stupor.
[Rolling On The Floor]
The real truth is too embarrassing....signs & house cleaning, and maybe a dance at the Mars VFW.
Love....Jill

I've got a hot date with a 22, 19 and 17 year old.

I am surprising my boys by taking them to a concert of a friend I went to school with years ago. All 3 of my boys love them, but I haven't told them what we're doing - "just keep Friday night open for dad". Just what a kid that age likes to hear - spending Friday night wih dad, yipee! They've been trying to guess for 2 weeks what's up, but my lips are sealed. Just hope they enjoy it. Have a good time everyone!

Yard work. Play with the kids. Yard work. Take a drive through the boatyard with sign van/pick up half a dozen jobs. Yard work. Listen to wife try to sell me on buying expensive swing/playset for kids. Yard work. Above all, a cold beer (or six).

Well, it's been a rough week.
This weekend will involve some sort of alcohol, so feel free to bring your own work and pizza [Smile]

Havin' fun,

Bobby is back in agility class on Friday nights now, so that about takes care Fridays for the next couple months.

Tomorrow is gonna be a tough one. Toby leaves on the plane out to Long Island for some time with his co-owners/breeders Arlene and Victor. They'll be taking him to some shows in NJ/PA, then a couple weeks later to MA.

I can't imagine what it's gonna be like around here with out him. It's harder because we're not sure when he'll be coming home yet... so keep your fingers crossed he does well at the shows!!

I wish we could do some work outside, but the weather is supposed to be yucky all weekend.

Bruce's birthday is May 2nd, so probably end up going out with the in-laws on Sunday, since Bobby has obedience class Monday nights.
