Haha. Little did they know they can outfit any rig pretty cheaply with those from an online retailer.

I saw one go for over $500,000.00 at the Auburn Auto Auction in Indiana. But will my '96 Caravan be worth anything?? [Wink]

I collect 1/24th scale Die cast race cars, mostly Drag Racing but I do have a few NASCAR.

I have about 50 cars right now.

I have some of the 1/64th cars but I like the larger ones better. I havn't gotten any new ones for a few years those, too much fishing stuff out there [Wink]

all 1:24 stuff here.. that red car with white top (3rd from left) is a 1960 Impala. The blue one below it is a '67.

I was just in KrispieKreme yesterday & I told them they created a monster when they gave me an old 1:24 delivery sedan with their logo on it as a promotional gift when they opened. [Smile]

I collect 1/24's also...mostly Nascar.

Recently I have been building a series of stock cars that my cousin raced back in the late 70's...

 -

His name was Punly Manor and he raced all over the midwest and in Canada. Unfortuntely his was killed in a highway accident late 1979. Never hurt on the racetrack...ironic! Then his dad was killed in a head-on about a week and a half later (other drivers fault). Not something you get over.

I have two of the six cars that he raced completed so far. I was a teenager and helped with these cars sometimes.

I am doing all the graphics myself in Illustrator and then printing them on water slide decals.

This particular car probably took me longer to build then the original car did. I have no pictures to go by so I am winging it kind-of...Winter hobby!

now all I need is very small red sand!

outta here!
